About Anga Textiles

I started sewing about twelve years ago. At the time, I was making quilts with a sewing machine that I had bought 20$ at Walmart! Around my house, the textile choice was quite uninspiring. Then one day I found a quilting book in a fabric store and I discovered the wonderful and colorful fabrics of Kaffe Fasset. I decided to buy some (way too many) online and Surprise! When they were delivered, they came with customs fees, I had not realized that I had bought them in the United States! My first experience of online shopping 🙂

Now my sewing has evolved a lot, for me, for my sons and sometimes, a little, for my boyfriend :) I never tire of looking for fabrics, but sometimes I find it difficult to get my hands on beautiful original fabrics for my sons . I wanted different designs, not just cars, trucks, police cars, not tractors. Finally something different: dinosaurs! Haha, no, I want bright, joyful, playful fabrics for my children that reflect their joy of living, their energy and that go beyond gender prejudices. My boys love flowers, they love pink and purple too! And it’s perfect like that!

In conclusion, I decided to embark on this quest myself, to find and share here the discoveries I make.
