A beginner's course for those who have never used a sewing machine or who want to review the basics. In 3 hours: PDF pattern, fabric preparation and cutting, introduction to the sewing machine, then sewing a fully lined hat to take home. Pattern included. Fabric: bring an old garment (t-shirt, sweatshirt fleece, or any stretchy fabric) to make your hat, buy fabric from the shop, or choose from the thrift store clothing selected for this project.
